Afşin has over 16 years’ experience in the field of humanitarian aid and refugee resettlement program, working across different countries and I/NGOs in varied contexts. 

Afşin holds an MA in European Studies from Westminster University/London. His experience and knowledge gained in the field triggered his intention to academic level and he is currently studying PhD at Ruhr University, Germany at the International Development Studies Program. His research title is “Social Cohesion Dynamics in Turkey and Effects of Syrian refugees on Social cohesion”. 

Afşin has extensive experience in donor relations, organizational management, and operation management.
